About White Oak Pastures

Founded in 1866, White Oak Pastures is a sixth-generation family farm now covering nearly 5,000 acres in south Georgia. In 1995, under Will Harris, a fourth-generation cattleman, they moved away from industrial farming (antibiotics, hormones, chemicals), returning to "radically traditional" methods inspired by his roots.

The farm embraces regenerative agriculture, raising 10 species of livestock (including cattle, sheep, goats, hogs, various poultry) plus eggs, organic vegetables, and honey.

They operate on-site USDA-inspected abattoirs for both red meat and poultry which is one of very few U.S. farms with this level of vertical integration. Everything is reused here. Hides become leather or rawhide chews, fat turns into tallow products, and inedible parts are composted to enrich the soil.

Products & Experience:

They sell a wide range of pasture-raised meats including grass fed beef, heritage pork, lamb, chicken, turkey, rabbit, and even Iberico pork plus artisan goods, bone broths, honey, and organic vegetables through their online store. They also offer on-farm experiences: tours, cabin stays, general store, dining, workshops, and trail rides.
